there is a list of items used on the article page.. the background is handpainted with aryclic paint and laid with lace. the edges are burnt with a lighter to give it it an aged look. im most proud of this mini page.. i tried to use a lot of techniques! i love twilight!!

hey guys.. well i finally finished (almost) my curtain call mini for Lyla at the scrapbeach.. well it took awhile but its done.. just got to distress some tags and thats it.. this album is 95% graphic 45 curtain call paper plus some of my minds eye "lost and found" paper.. i got a lot of things at hobby lobby and micheals. micheals has some new embellishments in the jewerly section that a great vintage items.. ie the bow and bicycle on my mini album.. definitely check that out.. also at hobby lobby is where i got most of my fibers, ribbion and lace. especially the fibers on the binding.

there are also some of my grunge roses that i make on the mini.. large and small.. those are still available for purchase.. please check out my etsy shop called ScrapHeadz at etsy.com. i still trying to get that site going...

Breaking Dawn Tag

Hey guys! thanks for visiting.. i have been really busy and haven't got a chance to update my blog in a couple of weeks.. but i finished some more projects... finally!

first in a tag i did for Bona's twilight tag swap "Breaking dawn" the last in the series of the twilight saga. this was for team jacob.
One side is jacob in human form when he finally imprints on Reneesme.. in the book it talks about how

" Everything inside me came undone as i stared at the tiny porcelain face of the half-vampire, half-human baby. all the lines that held me to my life were sliced apart in swift cuts, like clipping the strings to a bunch of balloons. everything that made me who i was - my love for the dead girl upstairs, my love for my father, my loyalty to my new pack, the love for myother brothers, my hatred for my enemies, my home, my name, my self - disconnected from me in that second - snip, snip, snip - and floated up into space. i was not left drifting. a new string held me where i was.... the gravity of the earth no longer tied me to the place where i stood. it was the baby girl in the blond vampire's arms that held me here now. Reneesme..

i love that quote.. and i think it really represented the book from jacob's perspective. the other side was jacob in wolf form.. in the beginning of the book before jacob came back to Forks. he spent most of his time in wolf form. so there is a moonlight scene. also the element of surpise was fabric. but i actually used rabbit fur.  i wish i could have found some brown fur to blend in more with the pictures.

thanks again for visiting. Please check back for more projects from me!

Sneak Peek! Current Curtain Call mini album im working on!

im doing a personal swap with lyla from thescrapbeach. we using the curtain call paper by graphic 45. i also am using a lot of prima and I am roses flowers. there are a lot of different techniques that i wanted to use with this mini. i've been working alot of youtube videos and this was my chance to actually use them. i haven't done a whole mini in a long time. mostly swap like stick pins, charms and mini pages. but i am very excited about this mini. i love this paper collection so i didn't want to cover up the paper too much. it has a great vintage feel to it.. as do most of the graphic 45 paper lines do. there are going to be tons of tags that i haven't yet complete. i also need to do the cover/back with binding. i made all the pages separate so that i can measure them out to do the binding according to the size it will be. its getting pretty thick so far.. so i'm sure lyla will like it. But here is a video for you guys. and a few pics! check it out and let me know what u think.. psst... don't tell lyla i don't want her to see it until its done! thanks for visiting.. stop back again to see the finished project!

Recent Swaps and projects

hey guys! well here are a few projects that i've been working on ive signed up for a lot of swaps on the scrapbeach and i've also have been tryin to start an etsy account. i was so excited the other day i got my first sell and i only had the items posted for 2 days! yay! but anyways. i really have been emersed in my scrapbook and creating different things. as you all my know i love vintage anything but im thinking that i might just focus on my creations and doing items for my etsy account.. Please check it out
etsy.com shop called ScrapHeadz.. its not all glammed up but it works! if anyone would be able to help me with a logo that would be great!

so with that said i might be taking a break from swap for a little while, i'm still in nursing school and really need to focus on that for right now. only 5 more weeks to go, and then i have to take my the NCLEX-RN which is a nationwide test to become licensed as a registered nurse.. but after i pass! (positive thinking) i'm going all out for my scrapbooking until i find a job.. but enough of the personal info! lets get started

my first projects are the grunge roses i did for a trade on the scrapbeach. i made over 30 grunge roses.. i think that they came out pretty good... i really want to try different paper effects or paper patterns to get so specific looks that might match some of the popular paper lines out there. but i was super happy with the way that these came out.

Second was a March pin swap that i did on the scrapbeach. the theme was springtime. so this is what i came up with.. i had to posted on my etsy account. but they already sold! yay! when i think of springtime  i think of my mom's garden, which is massive! i hate it.. over like 300 flowers and plants between the front of the house and back.. she has like 3 separate gardens and tons of flower boxes! but it looks amazing when it all done. and especially makes the backyard. we have no trees back there so it really makes the open space nice.

Third project - was a charm swap in entered at the scrapbeach. this theme was pink, brown, and a touch of lace.  then you had to make a tag for it.. i really love tags.. they are simple and don't take a lot of time.. also you get to see how different people that the theme and run with it.. the theme really made me think of monkeys for some reason. lol i don't know so i based my tag and charm off of these monkey charms i got from meijer for like $0.99. they also are a great place to buy some beads.. they are about the same price as some of the bead you might get from michaels or joanns.. but they do have sales sometimes.. most of the beads are by Blue Moon.. but they aren't bad if you lookin for simple cheap beads. also Wal-Mart has a great selection of cheap beads. i found recently the dollar bin there as well and its great. also they have tons of beads that are only 2.00 and 4.00 dollars and you get over 50 bead usually.
but here is my "Bananas for Bananas" charma and tag.

the last project was my etsy! i wanted to do a Stick Pin kit. for beginner or even more advanced people. this was from my personal collection of beads and charms.. i really have found some great deals.. so i went crazy just buying up beads.. so this is a way to get over my buyers remorse! lol and share some of my supplies. there are 3 kits available at $20 plus shipping. you do get over 80 pins in 14 different styles. you also get over 200 beads and 6 different spacers. you also get some flowers and a handmade grunge rose by Me. to use as you wish as an embellishment. And you can make a stick pin for it! yay!

thank you all for visiting!
please check out my etsy shop at
thanks!

Charms and Stick Pins

Charms and Stick pins are great ideas to add a little bit extra to any project.. you can make them match any of your flowers. you can get some great deals online at ebay or any bead store. Sticks pins also come in packs. i love Maya Road crystal stick pins they come in a pack of 30 pins with a crystal at the top of the pin. they are great with clear or crystal bead and can match almost anything.  Charms are great they can be hook on anything from scrapbook minis, purses, backpacks, or even just as a keychain. great gifts that people love to receive just because its handmade.

Hello everyone! well i have just discovered how to make some great paper flowers. I used the tattered floral die from Tim Holtz Alternations collection and the #6 sizzix flower die. they are great in all different paper crafting. i recently used them to decorate a great altered journal I did, using Apieceofcraftdotcom - Marion's technique she used with arcylic paint and lace. altering everyday items has been the new hot technique. Also i have joined 5 swaps on thescrapbeach.ning.com. its a great site to meet new people and get some great ideas and learn techniques. the ladies are really great!
